FAQ

What does Noctis actually check?

Token basics, bytecode and source verification, ownership, liquidity depth, LP burn/lock share, holder concentration, a simulated buy-then-sell through the DEX router to detect honeypots and taxes, and admin functions like mint, blacklist, fee setters, pause and max-tx.

Does Noctis need my wallet or send transactions?

No. Scans are read-only RPC calls. The honeypot test runs entirely in RPC simulation with a temporary state override. Nothing is deployed and nothing is signed.

What does UNAVAILABLE mean?

A check could not be performed (RPC timeout, explorer not reachable, no pair). Noctis never fills gaps with guesses. Unavailable checks lower the score slightly because unknown is not safe.

Is a SAFE verdict a guarantee?

No. Contracts can be upgraded, liquidity can move, and new rug techniques appear. Noctis reduces risk, it does not remove it. Not financial advice.

Do Guard alerts run when I close the tab?
